Milan beauty week ends on a positive note

The first edition of Milano beauty week. The event dedicated to cosmetics, organized from last Tuesday to yesterday under the Madonnina, involved more than 100 companies, 100 stores and saw more than 900 events spread across the Lombard capital (see CFP of May 4). And now that the event is over, there is space to take stock of the event which, in the beauty village held inside Palazzo Giureconsulti, attracted more than 10,000 visitors. This first edition was produced with the support of Cosmetics Italy, Cosmoprof, Essence, Lombardy Region, the municipality of Milan, Assolombarda, Cnmi-National Chamber of Italian Fashion And Confcommercio Milan Lodi Monza and Brianza.

“The figures for this launch edition testify to the warm welcome the city has given to Milan Beauty Week,” explained Renato Ancorotti, president of Cosmetica Italia. “A springboard that undoubtedly projects us towards 2023 with the ambition of making the week of the culture of beauty and well-being an annual collective event to be included in the calendar of Milan weekends. Cosmetica Italia, alongside its partners Cosmoprof and Esxence, believed in Milan Beauty Week and worked with passion to build a one-of-a-kind event for the world of cosmetics”.

During the Ilanese event, the Boutique powered by Cosmoprof fundraiser was also organised, a charitable initiative which raised more than 17,000 euros. Profits will be donated to the non-profit organization The strength and the smilea social responsibility project sponsored by Cosmetica Italia, which helps women with cancer through laboratories and specialized centers.
